...for gif files and jpg files both, when building one for online use, the final version should be at 72dip, anything beyond that causes a slower load time, and does no good for clarity online. If someone tries to print it out, it will look awful, but you didn't build it for printing. JPG compression can be between 40-60, and GIF at about 15-25 because you don't want compression distortion on your text images. CD
