Plugin Commanderby Harry the RaverInstalling PiCoDownload PiCo and run it. If it doesn't work, or if you get error messages, then download the pico_systemfiles.zip, located on http://thepluginsite.com/, unzip to a separate directory and click on Setup.exe. Setup will walk you through installing the system files on your machine. Plugin Commander ~is~ in Beta. Use at your own risk! Neither I, Harry the Raver, or any sites using/suggesting PiCo are responsible for problems with your system due to using this program. Using PiCoOpen Windows Explorer, navigate to the directory in which you placed PiCo and click on PiCo.exe.
In window "A", locate the directory to which you extracted the filter file. If you have not already downloaded and unzipped a filter file, back up to here. Note: With the new PiCo version, (scheduled to be released soon), you will be able to unzip the zips containing the .ffl file within PiCo. In window "B" you will see several files, two readme.txt and an .ffl file. It's the .ffl file we're interested in. Highlight it with one click of your mouse. Window "C" shows where you want your filters to end up. Since I was converting Filter Factory/Gallery T, I opened my Plugin folder and double clicked on the filterfactory directory. The .ffl files can be converted directly to the PSP plugin directory. Window "D" is where your converted filters will appear. Once you have all of your directories chosen, select the Photoshop radio button and click "Convert to". Once your filters appear in Window "D", you are ready to install them in Paint Shop Pro. If you converted your files directly to the PSP Plugin Directory, you can skip the installation step and get right to work with your new filters. |
