1- First you have to find a photo or an object to apply the Burning Effect.. I choose this photo of Katie Holmes cause she's HOT and will look great with this effect.

2- Put your 2 colors black like this . Select all the photo pressing Ctrl+A then select from the menu
Image / Add Borders and add the effect with the Symmetric option cheked and put 1 in the Top.
Then press ok. It will look like this..

3- Now, select all the photo pressing Ctrl+A then select from the menu Image / Plug-in Filters / Xenofex / Distress... Apply the effect with your favorite properties.. Now select all the photo again pressing Ctrl+A and
Copy it pressing Ctrl+C..

4- Make a new image with the dimensions bigger than the original image, background black and press ok. Now paste the image as a transparent selection pressing Shift+Ctrl+E.. Now been selected Add a glow effect presing from the menu Image / Plug-in Filters /
Eye Candy / Glow .. apply it with black color,
Opacity 100 and a the border size depend on the
size of the image in this one I use a 7.
Dont deselect the image yet

5- Now been selected from the past step add the fire effect pressing from the menu Image / Plug-in Filters / Eye Candy / Fire.. Put the colors = natural, Inside Masking = 100, Movement = 100, Edge Softness = 0, Random Seed = 1. The width and height depends on the size of the image. And you're done! look below the final project. I hope you like it! =)
