To display your toolbars select View/Toolbars from the menu bar. Put check-marks in the boxes of the toolbars you would like displayed.

Once the toolbars are open,they will take up most of your work area will sit on top of your image window and be a general pain in the neck... (yuck). But it's not that bad, just hit the tab key on your keyboard and those toolbars will disappear! Want them back? Press the tab key again!
