This button is based on
Realistic Gold Text

Open a new window, approx. 150 x 150, background white.
Immediately add a layer. (Open the Layer Control Palette and click on the add new layer button).
On the Color Palette, set the foreground color to white, the background color to 166, 157, 102.
Activate the Rectangular Selection tool. Select an area the size you'd like the finished button to be.
Using the Flood Fill tool, fill the selection with the background color by right clicking on it. Be sure you have the control palette set to solid fill.
Add a pool shadow. (Image | Plugin Filters | Greg's Factory Output Vol. II | Pool Shadow).
Apply a hot wax coating. (Image | Other | Hot Wax). (The foreground color should still be set to white, if it's not, set it back to white before you apply the hot wax).
Add a new layer.
With the Rectangular Selection tool, select a new smaller rectangle inside of the perimeter of the first rectangle.
Apply a Cut Out with the following variables:
Apply a Hot Wax Coating.
Add another new layer.
Add text to the new layer, make sure the Floating checkbox is unchecked in the Text dialog box.
Apply a Cutout .
Apply a Hot Wax Coating.
Deselect all by pressing CTRL + D on your keyboard.
With the Magic Wand, select the area outside of the button. Invert the selection.
Add a Dropshadow.
Add another Dropshadow.
Crop around your image being careful to not cut off your shadow.
Save.
