Mirrored Effect
The images in this tutorial were optimized using Gif Wizard
- Open an existing graphic of photograph quality.
- Click on Image/Rotate
- Adjust the settings to direction:left
- Click the free option and adjust the degrees to 20
- Click on Image/Deformations/Wind
- Adjust the settings to from leftand strength:20
- Add Text by clicking on the A on the toolbar and then clicking inside of the blurred area of your window.
- Choose your font, style, and size
- Deselect Floating
- Click ok
Note: You can't move this text. If it's not completely inside of the blurred area, deselect it, and start over. Place
your curser in the exact center of the blurred area and try again.
Do not deselect the text.
Press CTRL+C to copy
Open a new window approximately twice the height of your text.
- Press CTRL+E to paste
- Place the text near the top of the window
- Press CTRL+E to paste again
- Place the text underneath the first text
- Do not deselect
- Click Image/Flip
Add a special effect.
- Do not deselect the bottom text
- Click on Image/Plugin Filters
- Note: I used Greg's Pool Shadow
- Click ok to add your filter
- Deselect the text
Apply a deformation to the bottom text.
- Select bottom text again, this time using the rectangular selection tool
- Click on Image/Deformations/Wind
- Adjust the settings to from:left, strength:10
- Deselect
Apply a spotlight to the entire graphic.
- Click on Image/Plugin Filters/Filter Gallery A/ Spotlight
- Click ok
Click on colors/adjust/ brightness-contrast to suit the graphic
