For this tip, you will have to download and install Greg's Factory Output filters. They install the same way as the Filter Factory filters.

Open new window 200x100

hot01 Select Image/Plug-in Filters/Greg's Factory Output/Sine Blobs I. Just click ok, color and shape doesn't matter at this point, so no adjustments are necessary.
Select Edit/Copy

Open a new window 400x400
Select Edit/Paste/Paste transparent and place the image near the bottom of the new window.

smudge in flames Select the smudge tool
Smudge in your flames.

Add text white hot04

Add text black, place it above and a little left of the white text.

Select Image/Plug-in Filters/Gallery E/Fire Starter
Add fire starter filter, adjust size of flame so text is very clear in the thumbnail.

hot07 Change foreground color to bright yellow on the color palette.
Using the Select Tool, hold the shift key down and click on each black letter until all of the text is selected. Do not select the white part of the text.
Select Image/Special Effects/Add Drop Shadow
Adjust the settings to

vertical -3 (minus 3)
horizontal
3 opacity 255
blur 4

Select Image/Plug-in Filters/Greg's Factory Output/Sineblob I
Adjust color controls to yellow or orange
Select ok.
