Again Im not really sure what to call it, to me it looks like a Tainted Metal Text... This relies heavily on Greg's Factory Output Vol. II Plugins. Check the Filter page for download location and installation instructions.
Start with a new image 16m colors, color doesn't matter although I prefer a black background...
1. Select a font, fontsize should big sush as a fontsize of 36+... Enter
your text and place it somewhere in the image... Do not unselect the text.
2. Select "Plug-in Filters"-"Greg's Factory Output Vol. II"-"Sine Blobs
III", use the default settings...
3. Next Use "Plug-in Filters"-"Greg's Factory Output Vol. II"-Shatter,
change the Offset to 30...
4. Select "Plug-in Filters"-"Greg's Factory Output Vol. II"-"Radial
Hilite", use the defaults...
5. Use "Normal Filters"-Blur
6. Unselect the Text and use "Edge Filters"-Edge Enhance
7. All thats left is to colorize the picture... I now prefer "Plug-in
Filters"-"Greg's Factory Output Vol. II"-Colorize over the standard
function as it seems to give me more control... I used Red:255 Green:150
Blue:0 to get a tainted gold...
