Gold Frames

1. Create a custom color with the values: red : 187 green : 170 blue : 114....this will be your pale gold color.

2. create a custom color with the values: red 89 green : 79 blue: 43..this is the dark gold color.

3. Open the picture you want to frame.

frame01 4. With the pale color as background click : Image - add borders click on symetric and value 5 (Top bottom and both sides) image 1

5. With the magic wand, select the border.

frame02 6. Go into -Image - plugin filters - Filter factory A - Pool shadow. click ok. (image 2)

frame03 7. go into - Image - Special effects - buttonize, edge size = 2 transparent edges. image 3)

frame04 8. Deselect border. Click on image - add borders = size 20 symetric. (image 4)

9. With the magic wand..select the border.

frame05 10. with the air-bursh tool - dark color as foreground settings : size = 200 - shape = round - opacity = 101 - texture = parchment. Rapidly pass over the entire border with the air-bursh tool. one time only. (image 5)

frame06 11. Select Image - plugin filters - filter factory a - mirror mirror, click ok. (image 6)

frame07 12. select white as foreground color and go into Image - special effects - hot wax coating. (image 7)

frame08 13. Then adjust the brightness to 12, contrast to 0.
Select image - special effects - buttonize (same settings as above) click ok.(image 8)

frame09 14. click on selection - invert. Add a drop shadow, color black, opacity 170 blur 36 , vertical and horizontal=0. OK. Deselect border. (image 9)

frame10 15. click Image - add borders (background should still be the pale color) Add border = width 5 - symetric. (image 10)

frame11 16. Select border with magic wand. Select Image - plugin filters - filter factory A - pool shadow. click ok. (image 11)

frame12 17. click image - special effects - buttonize (same settings) (image 12)

Voila, you have a fancy gold frame for your picture.
