Instructions for using the PSP Capture Feature
- Using the PSP Capture Feature:
- Open PSP again by going to Start/Programs/ and clicking on your PSP shortcut. (This will result in two copies of PSP running simultaneously)
- In the second copy of PSP, click on Capture/Setup on the menu bar
- Settings:
- Capture:Object
- Hotkey:F11
- Options: none checked
- Press the Capture Now button
- Pressing the Capture Now button will take you to your first PSP program window, (the one with the error message box). If it doesn't, pull up your taskbar and click on it manually to bring the window to the front.
- Press F11 on your keyboard and move your curser around until the error message box is highlighted
- Left mouse click to capture the error message
- A new window with your captured image will open in the second PSP program window
You can close the first PSP program window now as we're through with it.
Zoom in so your image is in the size 1:1.
- Using the eye-dropper pick up the color of the error message title bar
- Reverse the foreground and background colors in the color palette.
Select the words "Paint Shop Pro" using the rectangular selection tool
Press 'delete' on your keyboard. This will result in the title bar having no text in it.
- Do the same with the text in the message area of the window.
- If you want the button to say something besides 'ok' you will have to repeat this process one more time to remove the button text

Enter new text into the empty box.
In order for the text to appear as it usually does in a Windows Error Message box,
use the font MS Sans Serif.
- Title Bar:
- Set the color to R:255 G:255 B:255
- Style:Bold
- Adjust text size to fit into the title bar
- Message Square:
- Set the color to R:0 G:0 B:0
- The font should be the same as the above.
- Choose the text tool in the tool bar.
- Style:Regular
- Size not important
- You can do the same with the button if you've decided to change the button text
