Connected Selections

  1. Open a new window
  2. Click on the rectangular selection tool
  3. Choose the selection type and feather setting of your choise,
  4. Apply the shape to your window
  5. Change the selection type on the rectangular selection tool
  6. Hold down the shift key on your keyboard
  7. Apply the new shape to your window, overlapping the first shape
  8. Repeat until you have all the shapes on the window that you want
  9. Note: Don't forget to hold the shift key in when applying a new shape!!
  10. Fill the area with color, apply a filter, or any other effect you desire
