bumpu01 Open a fairly large image 16 M colors.
Choose text that is fairly wide and a large font, 48-72
Fill with a solid color or a linear gradient.

bumpy03 Keep text selected, then choose special filters, add noise, setting to 30 % and random.

bumpy04 Continue to keep text selected and choose soften from the normal filters

bumpy05a For text with outline, DESELECT the text and choose hot wax coating from special effects, using a fairly light color or white

bumpy05b For text without outline, leave text selected then pour hot wax coating over.

bumpy06b Add drop shadows as desired.

Start with a bold font again, white background and foreground
Do not fill text with color.

Choose add noise

then soften, as above.

Select or deselect and add hot wax with white as the chosen color. This can be repeated one time, for even bumpier text.
