Collage
- Starting with a white background and black foreground, draw some
"connecting lines", using the line tool, width set to 7.
- Select the lines using the magic wand
- Click on selections/modify/feather, and 'feather' to 20. Do this twice
- Select images/plugin filters/(pattern generator of your choice) I used Krusty's FX Vol. 2/Metallic.
- Activate the window of the first image you want to paste into your collage by clicking on it once.
- Select the area you want to transfer
(For this particular image I used the selection tool, set to rectangular/feather0)
- Click on Selections/modify/feather and feather to 20 . Click ok
- Press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to copy your selection
- Activate the 'collage' window and press Ctrl+E to paste your image into the window.
- Position the image where you want it, and deselect it.
- Activate the window of the second image you want to include in your collage
- Select the area you want to transfer.
(For this particular image I used the selection tool set to ellipse/feather 0)
- After the selection is made, click on selections/modify/feather and feather to 20. Click ok
- Press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to copy your selection.
- Activate the 'collage' window and press Ctrl+E to paste your image into the window.
- Position the image where you want it, and deselect it.
- Activate the window of the third image you want to include in your collage
- Select the area you want to transfer.
(For this particular image I used the magic wand tool, tolerance set to 50, feather set to 0)
- Press Shift+V to invert the selection
- Click on selections/modify/feather and feather to 20. Click ok
- Press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to copy your selection
- Activate the 'collage' window and press Ctrl+E to paste your image into the window.
- Position the image where you want it, and deselect it. If you want a little variation
to your collage, select image/rotate prior to deselecting the pasted image. You
may have to reposition it slightly afterwards as well. Make sure it's where you want it,
and deselect.
- Activate the window of the third image you want to include in your collage.
- Select the area you want to transfer
(For this particular image I used the selection tool, set to ellipse/feather 0)
- After the selection is made, click selections/modify/feather and feather to 20
- Click ok
- Press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to copy your selection
- Activate the 'collage' window and press Ctrl+E to paste your image into the window.
- Position the image where you want it, and deselect it.
- Open a new window, making it large enough to hold your text.
- Select images/plugin filters/Greg's Factory Output/Sine Blobs I
- Adjust the bottom three sliders only, red=149, green=136, blue=113
- click ok
- Select the text tool and click in the direct middle of your window
deselect the 'floating' check box, type your text, and select ok
If all went well, your text will appear as a dotted outline in the middle of the
window. If it is not all inside the window, clear the selection and try again.
- When the text is inside the window, press ctrl+V to copy it

- Activate your collage window and press ctrl+E to paste the text into the window.
- If you want to rotate the text, add a drop shadow, or put any other special effect
on it, do so before you deselect the text.
